Our process is as follows:

1.  Review the job description.

2.  Meet with key representatives of your organization.  Depending on the size of the company and the reporting structure, this can be one or several people.  The goal during this meeting is to get a feel for the culture, the communication styles, the overall work environment.  We will be digging to uncover the idiosyncrasies, quirks, particulars of your culture and staff so that we can identify the specifics of your ideal candidate.

3.  We will create a job description for the post that will include skill requirements but also personality requirements as determined by me during the meeting above.  Our philosophy is that the soft skills are the more difficult, if not impossible, to train and so are key elements that drive the entire search process.

4.  We will post the description in key locations to maximize the candidate pool.  Only our information will be included.  The client information will be kept confidential until we have narrowed the candidate pool to the top 1 to 3 candidates.

5.  Our team will review resumes from the existing proprietary database of quality candidates along with those found through job postings.

6.  We will use the information gathered from our initial meeting to create a list of questions to help us discover whether or not a candidate has the right personality and behavior traits for your organization.

7.  We will interview candidates who, on paper, meet the minimum criteria.

8.  The screening process will include skill assessments and behavioral-based interviewing.  We utilize this style of interview because it helps to uncover how a candidate has behaved in the past.  The best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

9.  After an exhaustive search, our team will narrow the candidate  pool to the top 1-3 candidates.

10.  Our team will present the client with a packet of information that includes some specific questions to ask to assure that the client is prepared to deliver a great interview.
